This 2-Seater Settee Loveseat was originally designed by Florence Knoll in 1954 as part of her classic lounge collection. Knoll’s architectural background, including her studies under Mies van der Rohe, influenced its clean lines and geometric forms.

Florence Knoll created this “Settee,” a term derived from Old English “seti,” applying her comprehensive approach to interior space planning, combining modernist principles with functional design.

Shown in Burlap Velvet Upholstery on Matte Chrome Steel.

The Archetype Forms 1954 Settee Sofa: Two-Seater Loveseat is a faithful reproduction of the original Florence Knoll 2-Seater Settee Sofa, Model 1205S2.

Known for considering her furniture as the “meat and potatoes” of design, this Settee Sofa showcases Florence Knoll’s minimalism and the elegance of mid-20th century aesthetics.
