This “Relaxed” 4-seater version offers enhanced comfort, featuring a softer seat and deeper proportions than the regular benches from Florence Knoll’s original series.

Florence Knoll Bassett (1917-2019) was a pivotal American designer, architect, and entrepreneur, recognized for her contributions in shaping the modernist furniture, corporate interiors, and modern architectural landscapes. Knoll studied at the Cranbrook Academy of Art and the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, mentoring alongside Eero Saarinen, Charles & Ray Eames, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and other iconic designers. Her design approach included functionalism, modernism, integration, attention to detail, and collaboration.
