Preben Fabricius (1931-1984) and Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) were Danish furniture designers known for their minimalist approach to design. They began their collaboration in 1961 after meeting at the Danish Art Academy. Fabricius & Kastholm are renowned for their 6720 seating series sofa’s and lounge chairs (1968). Their extensive body of work also features the FK 82 X-Chair (1968) and the FK 87 Grasshopper Chair (1968).
