Yes! Customization is one of our specialties at Archetype Forms. Our name reflects our commitment to foundational, archetypal designs that can be tailored to your needs. Nearly all of our modern and designer furniture can be customized with various materials including stone, marble, aluminum, steel, upholstery, glass, fiberglass, wood, leather, and suedes. You can customize colors, finishes, textures, and more to create a piece that’s uniquely yours.
As a modern, digital-first furniture retailer, we currently operate exclusively online. This allows us to offer a wide range of customization options for our designer and mid-century modern pieces. Our detailed product descriptions and images are designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of each piece. Shipping & Delivery
For in-stock items, delivery typically takes 5-7 days for local delivery and 1-2 weeks for all other shipments in Canada and the Continental USA, from the date of your order. For special or customized orders, our production time and delivery is approximately 10-12 weeks from your order date. We offer two shipping options across Canada and the continental USA. Our standard shipping is $299, which includes delivery to your doorstep, building entrance, or driveway. We also provide a premium white glove service for $499, which includes placement of your furniture in your desired room and removal and recycling of all packaging materials. For purchases of $5,000 or more (pre-tax and after any discounts), we offer free standard shipping, with the option to upgrade to white glove service for just $199. We deliver our modern designer furniture to all areas within Canada, ensuring that customers across the country can enjoy Archetype Forms’ unique designs. We also deliver to all continental states within the USA. When you add items to your cart it will confirm whether we deliver to your specific area. If you are outside of this area or have any other questions, contact us. We’re here to help and can often make special delivery requests on a case-by-case basis.
Once your order is shipped, we’ll provide you with tracking information via email. You can use this to monitor your delivery’s progress and prepare for the arrival of your new Archetype Forms furniture. You can also follow the progress of your order on the Order Tracking Page.
Most of our furniture comes pre-assembled, reflecting our commitment to convenience and quality. Some items may require minor assembly, but this is usually minimal and straightforward, allowing you to enjoy your new Archetype Forms piece as soon as possible.
Returns & Warranty
We offer a 30-day return policy on in-stock items. However, please note that customized items with special finishes and materials are non-returnable due to their unique nature. For regular return items, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the product. For more details, please visit our Return Policy page.
We pride ourselves in our exceptional delivery and minimal product damage history. Our reliable in-house delivery team in our core area, and our exceptional 3rd-party logistics network team ensures your product arrives in-tact and damage free. However, accidents can happen.
If for any reason an item is damaged at delivery or defective, please notify us immediately — usually within 7 days. We’ll either replace the product or part, or pay for repair depending on the extent of the problem. Additionally, our 5-year residential warranty covers normal usage; please refer to our Warranty page for a detailed breakdown of coverage.
Yes, we offer a 5-year residential warranty on our products. This covers normal usage of our furniture, with specific details on parts, labour, and replacement available on our Warranty page. This warranty reflects our confidence in the quality and durability of Archetype Forms’ pieces.
For in-stock items, you can cancel your order at any time before shipment. For custom orders, if we haven’t started production or ordered materials, you can usually cancel or modify it within 10 days of the initial order. For modifications to your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Payment & Financing
To make purchasing as convenient as possible, we accept major credit cards and PayPal.
While we don’t currently offer financing, we’re working on implementing multiple payment options for financing in the future. This will make it even easier to bring Archetype Forms’ unique, customizable designs into your home. Stay tuned for updates!
