7 Armchair: One-Seater

The Outline Armchair 1-Seater was originally designed by Anderssen & Voll and released in 2016 as part of the Outline Sofa Series for Muuto. This armchair blends simplicity and function, drawing inspiration from the classic Scandinavian design sofas of the 1960s. The Outline Armchair features a visually light, clean-line exterior with a deep seat and soft cushioning for comfort. The curved armrests and overlapping forms make it distinct and timeless. Anderssen & Voll’s design philosophy emphasizes the importance of creating new while improving on existing designs. They once stated, “A good product builds and expands on tradition while simultaneously breaking the rules of said tradition.” The Outline Seating Series includes various seating options, including sofas, armchairs, and loveseats.
