The Cotone Dining Table Model 142 was designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in 2019. The Cotone series was first unveiled at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, where it received acclaim for its precise, essential lines and functional versatility. The Cotone Dining Table features a slender, extruded aluminum frame. Its rigidity and minimal structure contrasts with the polished marble or solid wood top. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s designs are featured in the collections of institutions such as the Centre Pompidou, MoMA, and the Design Museum London. “An object in a room is like a teabag in a glass of water. It has the power to generate the entire atmosphere,” Ronan Bouroullec once remarked. The Cotone Dining Table is a large rectangular table, suitable for dining or collaborative workspaces. Available in various sizes and finishes: the aluminum frame comes in anodized or painted options; the table top options include various marbles or finished woods; and the table is available in this large rectangular version or a square version.
