The Bibendum Armchair was originally designed by Eileen Gray in 1926 for the living room of her home, the E-1027 modernist villa in the French Riviera.
Inspired by the Michelin Man, the Bibendum Lounge Chair’s tubular backrest and armrests resemble the layers of the Michelin Man’s body. This unique design provides cocooning support and comfort, while its refined appearance delivers visual harmony.
Shown in Black Italian Aniline Leather on Powder Coat Black Steel Base.
The Archetype Forms Bibendum Lounge Chair is a faithful reproduction of the original Eileen Gray Bibendum Armchair design. It is a tribute to her enduring legacy.
