The Le Bambole by Mario Bellini was designed in 1972 and awarded the Compasso d’Oro in 1979. This Loveseat element functions as a two-seat sofa as part of the standard Le Bambole series. The originally released Le Bambole series is recognized for its unique construction and is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Bellini described Le Bambole as “not upholstered with fabric, but built in fabric,” highlighting its design in which the frame and padding is built within the fabric, the fabric is not solely a decorative overlay. The Le Bambole Loveseat features padding made of flexible, cold-shaped polyurethane foam and polyester fiber. The frame is constructed from durable polyethylene. The cover is available in fabric or leather. Shop the Loveseat 2-Seater Sofa from the Le Bambole Series online in Canada.Shown in Navyshadow Velvet Fabric.
