MR Side Table

CAD $720

The MR Table by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was designed in 1927. The design retains van der Rohe’s philosophy of “no trivial decoration” regarding pure, simple design. The MR90T End Table is part of the larger MR Collection, featuring construction of tubular and rectangular stainless steel supporting ½” thick polished plate glass. Four examples of the MR Table were included in the renowned Tugendhat House in Brno, Czech Republic, considered a landmark of modern architecture and one of van der Rohe’s defining works. The original MR Table is included in several collections and exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Mies van der Rohe stated “Form is not the aim of our work. It is the result,” detailing how the pleasing form of his designs are the result of creating something functional and purposeful. Shop the MR Table MR90T by Mies van der Rohe in Canada.
