Ombra Lounge Chair

Ombra Lounge Chair

CAD $1,160

The Ombra Armchair was originally designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1953 as part of her ongoing exploration of minimalism and elegance.

The Ombra Lounge Chair features bent steel legs and lower support with a comfortable upholstered seating and back cushion. Perriand was inspired by the interplay of light and shadow (“ombra” in Italian) when designing the chair. Its form commands attention while using minimalist lines, materials, and components, integral aspects of midcentury modern furniture design.

Shown in Midnight Weave fabric upholstery on Polished Chrome Steel.

The Archetype Forms Ombra Lounge Chair is a faithful reproduction of the original Charlotte Perriand Ombra Armchair, also known as 512 Ombra Armchair.
