The 8 Otto Ottoman was designed by Piero Lissoni and released in 2014 as part of the 8 Otto modular sofa series. Model 202-203 03 showcases refined minimalist shapes and timeless elegance, combining masterful construction with fine tailoring, making it perfect for interior design. This ottoman features cushioning made of polyurethane foam and can be used as a footrest, extra seating, or a soft table. Additionally, it can be butted up and locked against a sofa or chair in the 8 Otto series to create a chaise lounge. An extruded aluminum base supports the structure for durability and stability. In the 8 Otto series, this base style allows for various configurations when combined with other pieces. Piero Lissoni (b. 1956) is an Italian architect and designer known for his multidisciplinary approach to contemporary design. He established Lissoni Associati in 1986 after graduating from the Politecnico di Milano. Lissoni's furniture designs include the Otto 8 modular seating system (2014), featuring a distinctive hexagonal base allowing for various configurations and seamless integration of side tables. His architectural projects span from hotels like the Conservatorium in Amsterdam to residential complexes such as the Oceana Bal Harbour in Miami. Pierro Lissoni’s aesthetic is characterized by clean lines, attention to proportion, and a refined use of materials across all scales of design.
