Soriana Sofa: One-Seater Chair

The Soriana 1-Seater Lounge Chair was originally designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa and unveiled at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 1969. The Soriana expresses beauty and comfort by using a bundle of plush upholstery held by a treated steel clamp.

The Scarpas' furniture designs, such as the iconic Soriana armchair & sofa series (1969) and the Bastiano sofa (1960), blend traditional craftsmanship with modern production techniques.
