The Corbi Modular System was originally designed by Klaus Uredat in 1969 during a wave of modular furniture that emerged in the late 1960s and early 1970s. This era marked a shift towards flexibility and personalization in interior and furniture design, with the Corbi system reimagining traditional seating design conventions.

The Corbi System is characterized by its distinct, moveable cylindrical cushions and rounded bases. The modules can be placed alongside each other to create an extended sofa, or sit alone as chairs. It’s moveable backrest allows for various seating positions, offering formal or intimate comfort.
