Can I customize my furniture at Archetype Forms?

Yes! Customization is one of our specialties at Archetype Forms. Our name reflects our commitment to foundational, archetypal designs that can be tailored to your needs.

Nearly all of our modern and designer furniture can be customized with various materials including stone, marble, aluminum, steel, upholstery, glass, fiberglass, wood, leather, and suedes. You can customize colors, finishes, textures, and more to create a piece that’s uniquely yours.

Do you have a showroom where I can see Archetype Forms furniture in person?

As a modern, digital-first furniture retailer, we currently operate exclusively online. This allows us to offer a wide range of customization options for our modern and mid-century modern pieces.

Our detailed product descriptions and images are designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of each piece. You can also arrange a virtual meeting with one of our design team members to help you with your purchase and needs.

How often does Archetype Forms have promotions?

We occasionally offer special promotions on our modern and designer furniture. We’re always looking for ways to make our archetypal, customizable designs more accessible to our customers.

Shipping & Delivery

How long will it take for my Archetype Forms furniture to be delivered?

For in-stock items, delivery typically takes 5-7 days for local delivery and 1-2 weeks for all other deliveries in Canada and the Continental USA.

For special or customized orders, our production time and delivery fulfillment is approximately 12-14 weeks from your order date. At Archetype Forms, we’re proud to offer one of the fastest turnaround times in the industry for customized furniture industry.

What are Archetype Forms' shipping costs and policies?

We offer two shipping options across Canada and the continental USA:

Our standard shipping is $299, which includes delivery to your doorstep, building entrance, or driveway.

We also provide a premium white glove service for $499, which includes placement of your furniture in your desired room and removal and recycling of all packaging materials.

For purchases of $5,000 or more (pre-tax and after any discounts), we offer free standard shipping, with the option to upgrade to white glove service for just $199.

Archetype Forms currently delivers exclusively within Canada and the Continental USA.

Does Archetype Forms ship to all provinces and territories in Canada and the USA?

We deliver our furniture to all areas within Canada and the Continental USA, ensuring that a wide range of customers Archetype Forms’ unique designs, regardless of your location. For confirmation, when you add items to your cart it will confirm whether we deliver to your specific area.

If you are outside of these areas and would like to purchase from us, contact us. We can often make special delivery location requests on a case-by-case basis.

How do I track my Archetype Forms order?

Once your order is shipped, we’ll provide you with tracking information via email and/or text. You can use this to monitor your delivery’s progress and prepare for the arrival of your new furniture.

Does Archetype Forms offer assembly services?

Most of our furniture comes pre-assembled, reflecting our commitment to convenience and quality. Some items may require minor assembly, but this is usually minimal and straightforward, allowing you to enjoy your new Archetype Forms piece as soon as possible.

Returns & Warranty

What if I don't like my Archetype Forms furniture when it arrives?

We offer a 30-day return policy on in-stock items.

Please note that customized items with special finishes and materials are non-returnable due to their unique nature.

For regular return items, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the product. For more details, please visit our Cancellations & Return Policy page.

What is Archetype Forms' policy on damaged or defective items?

We pride ourselves in our exceptional delivery and minimal product damage history. Our reliable delivery team and our exceptional 3rd-party logistics network ensures your product arrives in-tact and damage free. However, accidents can happen.

If for any reason an item is damaged at delivery or defective, please take photos and mark the damage when signing to receive your delivery. Notify us immediately and we will walk you through the process.

We’ll either replace the product or part, or pay for repair depending on the extent of the problem. Additionally, our 5-year residential warranty covers normal usage; please refer to our Warranty page for a detailed breakdown of our warranty coverage.

Does Archetype Forms offer a warranty on its products?

Yes, we offer a 5-year residential warranty on our products. This covers normal usage of our furniture, with specific details on parts, labour, and replacement available on our Warranty page.

This warranty reflects our confidence in the quality and durability of Archetype Forms’ pieces.

Can I cancel or modify my Archetype Forms order after it's been placed?

For in-stock items, you can cancel your order at any time before shipment is arranged. For custom orders, if we haven’t started production or ordered materials, you can usually cancel or modify it within 10 days of the initial order.

For modifications to your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Payment & Financing

What payment methods does Archetype Forms accept?

To make purchasing as convenient as possible, we accept most major credit cards and PayPal.

If you don't see PayPal or one of your preferred payment options on checkout, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Does Archetype Forms offer financing options?

While we don’t currently offer financing, we’re working on implementing multiple payment options for financing in the future. This will make it even easier to bring Archetype Forms’ unique, customizable designs into your home. Stay tuned for updates!

Does Archetype Forms offer a price match guarantee?

We don’t offer price matching, as we produce all of our goods ourselves. Archetype Forms' products stand in a class of their own due to our commitment to quality and extensive customization options.
