This instantly recognizable chair was featured in the iconic Maxell "blown away" advertisement. The "Confort Grand Modèle" version is known for its larger size and softer padding than its Petit LC2 Chair counterpart.

LC3 Armchair: Confort Grand Modèle One-Seater

Known for its larger size and softer padding, the LC3 Confort Grand Modèle Armchair retains the distinctive cubic shape and tubular, exoskeletal metal frame as its counterpart in the LC2 series. Complement it with the LC2 Confort Modele Ottoman to create a relaxing chaise, impromptu seating, or a soft side table as needed.

Charlotte Perriand called the LC3 series a "cushion basket," playfully describing its interplay between industrial materials and comfort. Le Corbusier, Perriand, and Jeanneret’s original design is featured in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
