The Ox Chair by Erik Jørgensen and Hans J. Wegner was originally designed in 1960 and produced for a brief period, then relaunched for production in 1989. It is recognized by its bold, sculptural form and horned headrest.

Inspired by Wegner’s fascination with Picasso’s abstract representations of bulls from the 1940s, the Ox Lounge Chair features a molded structure with steel legs. The cylindrical cushion backrest and “horns” offer playful sophistication and surrealist art.
