The Cow Horn Chair was originally designed by Hans J. Wegner, released in 1952. It is recognized by its supportive bentwood back and armrests resembling a cow's horns, connected with traditional contrasting rosewood joints.
The Cow Horn Chair’s upright back and rounded silhouette was influenced by Wegner’s admiration for the Shakers and the Chinese Ming Dynasty chairs.
Shown in Semolina Italian Aniline Leather on Soaped Ash Frame.
The Archetype Forms Cow Horn Chair: Upholstered is a faithful reproduction of the original Hans J. Wegner Cow Horn Chair, Models PP505 & JH505.
