The Queen Lounge Chair was originally designed by Hans J. Wegner and Erik Jørgensen in the 1960s. However, it was not released until decades later when production technology caught up with its design requirements.
Wegner believed that a chair should be comfortable to sit in and "is to have no backside. It should be beautiful from all sides and angles."
Queen Chair shown in Sabbia Italian Aniline Leather on Brushed Chrome Steel Base.
The Archetype Forms Queen Lounge Chair is a faithful reproduction of the original Hans Wegner and Erik Jørgensen Queen Chair, Model EJ 101 and 1010 Queen Chair.
