Antonio Citterio is a distinguished Italian architect and designer renowned for his contributions to industrial and furniture design. He began his career after graduating from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1972, later becoming a professor there.
Citterio is known for his office equipment designs and furniture pieces, such as the Sity sofa system (1986). His work has earned him numerous awards including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro. Many of Citterio's designs are in permanent collections at MOMA in New York and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
