The Hairpin Stacking Stool was originally designed by Florence Knoll as the Model 75, introduced in 1948 as one of her earliest catalogue pieces.
Functioning as both a seat and hairpin side table, the Hairpin Stacking Stool can be stacked up to five high for efficient storage. Its bent steel legs stem from Florence Knoll's earlier experiments with steel rods at the Cranbrook Academy of Art.

Its hairpin legs have protective rubber bumpers in the underside, allowing it to stack up to 5 high for efficient storage.
